There are no moving parts in the 元00 - no noisy fans or spinning hard drives. The L-Series client devices - I tested the paperweight-sized 元00 - are stand-alone Ethernet-enabled devices that require only a VGA monitor and USB keyboard and mouse.

There is no support for third-party thin clients, software clients on laptops, or Web-based remote access. One downside to the NComputing solution, as with Pano Logic, is that it works with the vendor's proprietary access devices only. This does not mean that a group of engineers can all run AutoCAD on this host, but normal everyday business apps, like word processing and email, will have little trouble.

I can take full control at the click of a button. The multi-screen view option displays everyone’s screen. I have managed to introduce internet access restrictions. I as the MD can monitor and control users while seated in the comfort of my own desk. The System comprises of a single computer that connects to multiple client users through LAN. NComputing was not a concept that I was familiar with, and in doing my research, I was made aware that Bartleet IT is the local agent for NComputing in Sri Lanka and are the pioneers to introduce this technology to the country. Eraj Wijesinghe proposed NComputing from Bartleet IT as a possible solution.
